Special Features Dunimed ROM Walker Foot Support

Suffering from a severe foot or ankle injury, and looking to completely immobilize the foot and ankle? Or are you suffering from chronic Achilles tendon inflammation or tendon ruptures? If so, then the Dunimed ROM Walker Foot Support is your best choice! This foot support can provide complete immobilization of the foot and ankle. The advantage of this brace is that it allows you to walk around freely, where a cast won't. The Dunimed ROM Walker Foot Support contains 5 Velcro closure straps, 3 around the lower leg and 2 around the foot. This will allow you to adjust the Dunimed ROM Walker to the shape of your leg/foot.

The Dunimed ROM Walker Foot Support has a specially developed sole design, that improves the natural walking motion. This brace is also perfectly suitable for post-operative injuries to the foot or ankle. Wearing this brace will avoid having to wear a cast, because this support can be applied directly after surgery to fully immobilize the ankle and foot.

Fitting Instructions

Step 1: Loosen the belts and remove the sleeve.

Step 2: Place your foot and lower leg in the sleeve and fold the sleeve securely around your lower leg and foot.

Step 3: Carefully fold the outside of the brace around and place it against the calf. Place the foot and ankle correctly into the foot section and make sure the foot and ankle are placed in a 90° angle.

Step 4: When the brace is placed correctly around your lower leg and ankle, carefully pull the safety strip from the brace, and pull the straps through the rings.

Step 5: Start tightening the straps, and work from the bottom up. Note! Do not pull the straps too tight to avoid pinching. Throughout the day, you might have to tighten and loosen some straps, as the swelling will decrease in some places, and increase in other places.

Step 6: To remove the Dunimed ROM Walker Foot Support, loosen the straps and the outside of the brace a little. Then open the sleeve and remove your foot from the brace. If you want to adjust the position of the brace, you can follow these steps and place the brace in the position you desire.
